POPUP WINDOW - HELP

There are a few things you can check to allow pop-ups from www.interviewmastery.com and allow our software to launch on your computer. You don’t have to turn off all popup blockers, but turning them off will resolve the problem. Instead of turning the popup blockers off, you can allow popups from www.interviewmastery.com by adding our site to the list of permitted sites.

Popup blockers can be present in several forms.

If you have anti virus software like Norton or McAfee, it probably contains a popup blocker. Check the settings to allow popups from www.interviewmastery.com or disable the popup blocker in the anti virus software.

For Norton AntiVirus software

Popup blocking is also included in Norton AntiVirus. To allow popups from www.interviewmastery.com do the following:

Go to the main menu for Norton AntiVirus and click on Ad Blocking

You can turn off ad-blocking or do the following to allow popups from www.interviewmastery.com

Click CONFIGURE, ADVANCED, ADD SITE Enter www.interviewmastery.com, click OK

Popup blockers can also be present as stand alone software programs.

Also, the currently available version of Windows XP has a popup blocker added to MS Internet Explorer. Whenever this browser detects a popup from a site it blocks the popup and asks the user if they want to allow popups from the web site.

Toolbars:
If you have the Google, Altavista, MSN, ASK, AOL, Yahoo or any other toolbar they may also contain a popup blocker. The popup blocker on each toolbar must be set to allow popups from www.interviewmastery.com. A sample image of the Google toolbar is shown below.

Click the button labeled “Pop-ups blocked” to allow pop-ups from www.interviewmastery.com.

A sample image of the Yahoo toolbar is shown below.

If this does not solve the problem, the security on your browser may be too high to allow pop-ups. The following instructions are the last thing to try. Do the following.

Default Settings Be sure to check that the MSIE browser settings are set to the Default Setting. To set your MSIE browser to the "default" settings to the following:

On your MSIE browser click on "Tools", then "Internet Options", then the "Security" tab. Click the button labeled "Default Level", Click "OK". this procedure sets the browser setting to default and should resolve the problem.

If the above instructions to not resolve the popup problem try the following:
Open your MS Internet Explored Web Browser. Click on “Tools”, “Internet Option” then “Security” tab. Click “Trusted Sites”, then “Sites”. This opens a box where you can enter the address of trusted sites. Enter http://www.interviewmastery.com and click “Add” then “OK”

This procedure tells MS Internet Explored to allow popups from the site www.interviewmastery.com.
